WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT

Long ago, in the heart of ancient India, skilled artisans blended copper and tin, not just to forge metal, but to create wellness. Thus, Kansa was born: a sacred alloy known as bell metal, revered in Ayurveda for its healing touch. Passed down through generations, this shimmering metal found its place at the table, not just as dinnerware, but as a daily ritual of balance and nourishment.

The Kansa Dinner Thaali Set is more than a plate; it’s a legacy. Thoughtfully crafted, it invites you to dine with intention. Drawing on a tradition that champions gut health, holistic wellbeing, and the quiet power of heritage in every bite.

  • Naturally Safe & Pure

Kansa is crafted from a unique blend of tin and copper. It requires no additional coating or kalai. It is naturally safe, non-reactive and perfect for everyday use.

  • Supports Gut & Mind
Eating from Kansa is more than tradition—it actively supports digestion, improves gut health, boosts immunity, and aids in balancing thyroid and blood pressure.

  • Low-Maintenance Beauty
The more you use this thaali set, the better it looks. Kansa’s glow deepens with each wash. The best part is that it doesnt require any elaborate cleaning rituals.

  • Timeless Ayurveda
Kansa is endorsed in Ayurvedic texts. It is known to enhance memory, reduce inflammation and support overall vitality. It ensures to turn every meal into a healthy ritual.

  • Unique by Nature
No two Kansa pieces are identical. The natural variations in colour and tone are a reflection of its handcrafted origin and the varying balance of copper and tin.

  • Artisanal Legacy
Each thaali is handcrafted using age-old metal techniques passed down through generations, making every meal a celebration of craftsmanship and cultural continuity.

FAQs

Everything you need to know about our handcrafted copper, brass, and kansa collections.

Is it safe to eat from Kansa every day?

Yes, indeed. Among the safest and most beneficial metals you may eat from is kansa. Ayurveda advises regular usage of it for digestion, balancing of body energy, and general enhancement.

Not at all. Kansa already comprises tin in its alloy, unlike brass or copper. This makes it naturally safe and non-reactive without further coating required.

Indeed, and that’s part of its beauty. Kansa creates a naturally occurring and safe rich patina with use. Every wash improves the metal’s glow.

Just use a light scrub and some mild soap. Avoid using strong cleaners or steel wool. Kansa requires little regular polishing and is easily maintained.

Yes. Kansa is suitable for both hot and cold foods. Its metal composition helps retain temperature and enhances the flavour of meals when served warm.
