Does brass change colour over time?
Indeed, brass oxidises naturally under usage and in air and moisture conditions. This process creates a darker patina which is a visual feature of true, uncoated metal. It has no bearing on the health, safety, or performance of the cookware. However, you can purchase the de-oxidising cleanser from our website to bring back the shine and make the product as good as new.
What if the shine fades?
Especially with frequent use, brass may lose its golden shine over time. Restoring it, though, is easy. Polish it using our deoxidising cleanser solution. In minutes your product will be glowing once again.
How is brass and copper better than teflon or steel in the market?
What if the ghee turns green?
If the ghee comes into contact with salt, it may turn green. Even if a salty spoon comes in contact with ghee, the ghee will slowly turn green. It is best to get rid of that ghee, clean the pot with clean water and pour in a fresh batch of ghee.
